Change, Anyone?

So this is it...my life as I know it, is about to change in every way possible, and I could not be more excited, thrilled, nervous, worried, anxious, frazzled than I am right now.  Over the past several months, I have become engaged, began planning the wedding of my dreams, changed roles at my job, and found out that my fiance was going to be stationed in England for the next 3 years!

So what does this mean for me?  It means that I am holding on tight and preparing myself for the ride of a lifetime, and I hope you will join me!  My job is transferring me to our London office (thank you for that!), my hubby-to-be is already living in the UK, and we are turning our home here in the States into a rental property!    It's been a hectic few months as I am sure you can imagine, but all the change has really allowed me to dream again and to not get stuck in the routine of the daily American lifestyle.

Right now, my current stress is securing a UK Tier 1 Visa so that I can continue to work while in England - my company is sponsoring this - but there is TONS of paperwork to be collected, signed, filed etc!  We are just at the end of this collection phase and very soon, I will be shipping my immigration documents and application off to the UK consulate - with this shipment, I will say a small prayer and allow myself to exhale...

I promised myself I wouldn't start this blog until the move across the pond was certain...stay tuned for what's to come!
